The Mother Daughter dinner... A KNOBLE event!
I remember Hearing my grandmother discuss this event to her daughter still to this day. This vivid event is crystal clear in my mind, like a freshly cleaned window with the light imprint of bird, still seen in the middle pane. It was clear that I, Philip Rowe, the youngest of three boys and, who has reached his age of complete and utter clumsiness, would NOT be asked to serve dinner at the up coming church... Learning to drive, the Rowe method
My brother Scott Rowe was just learning to drive the family car. If I remember correctly it was a Toyota (no, not a FORD) and of course it was a standard. So, it was time to learn how to drive the stick! My mother, who can be modeled after June Cleaver or compared to as the modern day Mrs. Brady. will never speak ill of anyone, never utter an off color word and never known to gossip, was...
